Hannah's First Christmas

Adorably sweet Christmas gift you made at daycare for us...with a little "help" I'm sure from your buddies :)

Yep...another late post from your mama. Sorry but you are keeping me QUITE busy these days. Better late than never though. Christmas was extra special this year, obviously because you were here to celebrate with us and everything is just plain and simply better because you are in our life. This year we started it out by picking you up at daycare together because it had snowed at our house the Friday before Christmas and my car wouldn't move off our cobble stone road so your dad came home from work and picked us up and dropped you off at daycare and took me to work. So then we picked you up before heading down to BG. We were pleasantly surprised with a gift from daycare...well two one for you and one for us. The gift for you was a cute little caterpillar that you adore and the gift for us was a sweet little picture of you that they made into an ornament. It was really thoughtful and made me love daycare even more than I already did.
We went to a Christmas party at your Great Uncle Kurt and Aunt Sherri's house in Vancouver and you got to see and meet lots of your Garrett side of the family which was lots of fun and you were a huge hit with everyone. You even got to meet your Great Grandpa which was fun too. We spent Christmas Eve having dinner with Grandma Sandi at one of our favorite BG places to eat, Rocky's. I soooo hope when you are older it's still open and we can take you there...I'm sure you will love it as much as we do.
Christmas was nice and relaxing. We spent it at Grandpa and Grandma Chevalier's with family and you loved being around all the people and the lights and watching everyone open presents. You got a lot of great gifts including bath toys from Grandma Sandi and a Johnny Jump Up from Grandma and Grandpa Chevalier. It was wonderful to have you there and like I said...it just makes it that much more special. Can't wait to see how Christmas changes every year through your eyes. We love you sweet girl. xxoo
